HoseCo is a Perth-based engineering and service provider specialising in the supply, servicing, and design of industrial, hydraulic, and offshore hose and fittings, supporting complex fluid transfer systems across a range of industrial and resources sectors.

Background

Operating across multiple Australian States and Territories, and servicing high-risk industrial applications, HoseCo required a structured and practical approach to work health and safety (WHS) that would integrate seamlessly with its existing ISO 9001–certified quality management system and NATA-accredited operations.

The organisation sought a fit-for-purpose WHS management system that would strengthen risk management practices, support compliance with applicable Australian legislation, and meet the expectations of clients operating in safety-critical environments, without introducing unnecessary administrative burden. 

Objective

Develop a fit-for-purpose Work Health and Safety Management System to interface with and support existing ISO 9001 certification and NATA accreditation. The system needed to actively support the company’s ability to manage risk, meet customer requirements and address compliance obligations.
